Junior Matt Muolo (Stoneham, Mass./Stoneham) collects his second consecutive Soarin Falcon honor after being tabbed the MASCAC's Field Athlete of the Week.
Muolo received his third weekly honor of the season after leading the Fitchburg State indoor track team at the DIII New England Championships this past week. The junior thrower notched All-New England honors in the weight throw and shot-put, while also qualifying for the ECAC Championships. Muolo finished the day with a third place showing in the shot put (14.35m), while placing fifth in the weight throw with a distance of 16.08m.
The Fitchburg State indoor track team will be back in action this Friday as it travels to the All-New England Championships this weekend hosted by Boston University.
