Freshman Justin Quinn (Braintree, Mass./Braintree) earns his first Soarin Falcon award of the season after leading Fitchburg State to a perfect 2-0 week.

Quinn led Fitchburg State offensively, netting netted four goals in the Falcons 2-0 week. The freshman forward tallied two makers each in an 8-4 victory at Plymouth State and 5-3 triumph at UMass Dartmouth.

For his efforts, Quinn was named the MASCAC's Ice Hockey Player of the Week. In his solid rookie season, Quinn has been strong on the Falcons offensive line, registering seven points on five goals and two assists.

The Fitchburg State ice hockey team is off until after winter break when it visits Amherst College on January 2nd.
