Junior Carlos De La Rosa (Holyoke, Mass./Holyoke) helped propel the Fitchburg State football team to a dramatic victory this weekend, as the Falcons topped Bridgewater State College, 25-21 in comeback fashion.

De La Rosa was instrumental in the Falcons comeback drive, totaling two touchdowns in the contest, including the game-winning TD with 0:58 remaining in regulation.

The junior wide-out led all receivers with a game-high 136 yards on seven receptions, including a 61 yard burst midway through the third quarter. 

This season, De La Rosa has been Fitchburg State's main target, reeling in a team-best 338 yards and six touchdowns on 21 catches. He currently ranks fourth in the New England Football Conference in receing yards and fifth overall in scoring.

The Fitchburg State football team (3-2, 1-1 NEFC) will be back in action this Saturday as it travels to Coast Guard Academy at 1:30 p.m.
