Senior Paula Bartalamia (Tewksbury, Mass./Tewksbury) led the Fitchburg State field hockey team to a 1-0 week as the Falcons defeated Worcester State College, 2-0 on Saturday.

Bartalamia totaled four points in the contest, netting both Falcons goals to propel Fitchburg State to its second Little East Conference victory.

This season, Bartalamia has led the Fitchburg State offense, posting a team-high 13 points on six goals and one assists. The senior captains has totaled two game-winning goals while posting a perfect 1.000 shots on goal percentage.

The Fitchburg State field hockey team (4-1, 2-0 LEC) will be back in action Tuesday as it travels to Salve Regina University at 4 p.m.
