Muolo collects his second weekly honor of the season after having a sensational week with two first place finishes as the Tufts University Stampede.  Muolo captured top honors in both the weight throw (15.90 meters) and shot put (14.72 meters) to qualify for Division III New England Championships, All-New England Championships and ECAC Championships. He tossed a strong 15.90 meters in the weight, while notching a 14.72 meter toss in the shot-put.

This season, Muolo has been very consistent for the Falcons, qualifying for several post-season honors. Earlier in the year, the junior thrower led Fitchburg State at the Jay Carisella Invitational hosted by Northeastern University, posting a pair of Division III New England marks in the 35 pound weight throw and shot-put. For his efforts, Muolo picked up his first weekly honor as he was named the MASCAC's Field Athlete of the Week

At the All-Division meet (Division I, II and III), the junior thrower finished eighth overall in the weight throw with a distance of 14.84 meters (48-8.25), while posting a tenth place showing in the shot-put with a throw of 13.54 meters (45-5.25).

Muolo and the Fitchburg State indoor track team returns to action this weekend as it travels to the University of Southern Maine for the MASCAC/Alliance Championships on Saturday.
