Senior Anthony Bizzotto (Leominster, Mass./Leominster) collects his first Soaring Falcon honor of the season after posting a strong weekend for the Fitchburg State football team.

Despite falling 42-0 to Bridgewater State University, Bizzotto led all tacklers in the contest with a game-high ten tackles. The senior line-backer totaled seven solo efforts with three assists. On the year, Bizzotto ranks first on the squad with 88 tackles (52 solo, 36 assists), including 6.0 tackles for a loss, 2.5 sacks and one interception.

The Fitchburg State football team will be back in action on Saturday as it hosts Worcester State at 1:30 p.m.
