Rachel Jamieson, Women's Soccer

Fitchburg State sophomore Rachel Jamieson (Foxboro, Mass./Foxboro) collects her first Soaring Falcon honor of the season after being named the MASCAC Women's Soccer Player of the Week.

On the pitch, Jamieson was equally as strong, earning her first MASCAC Women’s Soccer Player of the Week accolade of the year. Jamieson led the Fitchburg State women’s soccer team to a perfect 2-0 week, totaling ten points on five goals scored. The sophomore forward tallied a hat trick in a 6-0 win over Becker before completing the week with a pair of goals in a 4-1 victory at Salem State.

The Fitchburg State women’s soccer team will be back in action tomorrow night as it hosts UMass Boston at 7 p.m.
