Jackson pours in game-best 33 points for the Green & Gold
Worcester, MA – The Fitchburg State Men's Basketball team dropped a 91-69decision to the Lancers of Worcester State this evening in Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) action from the Brissette Court.

How It Happened
First Half
Worcester State opened the contest with a 6-3 advantage as sophomore Jaydon Buckle (Windsor Locks, CT) and freshman Rayan Sabion (Stoughton, MA) before Fitchburg State knotted the contest at 10-10 with senior Nicolas Von Zboray (Sacramento, CA) hitting a three-ball.
The Lancers regained the lead 18-14 with senior Johnny Annan (Worcester, MA) registering a layup, but the Falcons answered back when junior Jalen Jackson (San Antonio, TX) converted a layup and free-throw to make the score 20-19.
The Green and Gold tied the contest at 28-28 when junior Kobe Witherow-Bass (Sacramento, CA) netted a layup and senior Tyriek Williams (Canonsburg, PA) sank a pair from the charity stripe, but the hosts regained the edge as junior Ethan Daleba (Dorchester, MA) hit a bucket to make the score 33-28 going into the break.
Second Half
Following the intermission, Worcester State upped the lead to 47-38 as Buckle notched a pair from the charity stripe before Fitchburg State trimmed the deficit to 49-44 with Williams hitting a layup and Jackson sinking two free throws.
The Lancers extended the advantage to 69-51 when sophomore Zeke Noelsaint (Malden, MA) registered a bucket, but the Falcons responded as junior Antonio Perez (Frederick, MD) connected on a pair of free throws and Witherow-Bass added a layup to make the score 71-58.
The Green and Gold cut the lead to 82-61 as senior Duvall Price (Lanham, MD) netted a layup, but the hosts secured the victory with sophomore Joe Okla (Worcester, MA) notching a bucket, resulting in the 91-69 final.

- For the Lancers, Okla finished with a team-best 21 points, ten boards, one assist and one steal
