Bio
Mark Giusto is in his second season as assistant coach of the Fitchburg State men's basketball team. Giusto joined the Fitchburg State Athletics Staff in August, 2011.
Prior to joining the Fitchburg State staff, Giusto served as the assistant coach of the freshman basketball team at Wakefield High School A 2005 graduate of Fitchburg State University, Giusto was a three-sport athlete for the Falcons, lettering in basketball, soccer and outdoor track. As a member of the men's basetkball team, Giusto saw action in 30 career games, totaling 34 points and 27 rebounds. In addition, Giusto served four years on the men's soccer team, including two-years as the Falcons captain, while also competing on the track in the javelin, high-jump and 400m dash.
Giusto earned his Masters Degree in Applied Communication (2011) and a Bachelors Degree in Communication Studies and Video Communication with a minor in theater from Fitchburg State. He currently teaches special eduation at the Merrimack Special Education Collaborative in Chelmsford, Mass.
He currently resides in Fitchburg, Mass. with his fiance.
