Title: Assistant Coach - RB's

Nick Robbins is in his third season as an assistant coach of the Fitchburg State football team. He will work with the runningbacks.

Robbins rejoins the Fitchburg State sidelines after completing a one-year stint as the offensive line graduate assistant at Jacksonville State University (AL). For the Gamecocks, Robbins toed the sidelines with legendary head coach, Jack Stowe, as the team competed in the Ohio Valley Conference.

Prior to coaching, Robbins boasted a successful collegiate career, earning multiple post-season honors. Originally recruited by Division II Newberry College (S.C), Robbins transferred to Fitchburg State University where he played defensive line under head coach Pat Haverty. While at Fitchburg State, Robbins was part of the back-to-back Bogan Division Title teams (2004, 05) and was named to the MASCAC and NEFC All-Conference teams. In 2007, Robbins capped his career, being named the Falcons Offensive Lineman of the Year.

A 2007 graduate of Fitchburg State, Robbins majored in History while obtaining a minor in Political Science. He currently works at the Merrimack Special Education Collaborative and resides in Fitchburg, Mass.
