Jenae Harrison, Women's Track & Field
Sophomore Jenae Harrison (Sioux Falls, S.D./Washington) collects her first Soaring Falcon honor of the season after leading the Women's Track & Field team at the 2013 DIII New England Championships hostec by Colby College this past weekend.
This week, Jenae placed 13th overall in the 800 meter with an ECAC qualifying time of 2:18.65, setting a new personal best in the process at the 2013 D3 NE's , while also as a member of the 4x800 meter relay team that posted an ECAC qualifying time of 9:55.69 in a 12 place finish over the weekend.
Last week at the 2013 MASCAC/Alliance Championships, the second year Falcon registered a third place MASCAC finish as part of the women's 4x800 meter relay team with a time of 10:24.87
The Fitchburg State men's and women's outdoor track & field teams return to action this weekend as members compete at the 2013 All-New England Championships hosted by Stonehill College starting on Friday at 10 a.m.
