Will Lary, Men's Track & Field
Senior Will Lary (Winchendon, Mass./Murdock) collects his first Soaring Falcon honor of the season after leading the Men's Track & Field team at the 2013 DIII New England Championships hostec by Colby College this past weekend.
This week, Lary posted an ECAC qualifying time of 9:39.14 with a ninth place finish in the 3000 meter steeplechase at the 2013 D3 NE's , while last week at the 2013 MASCAC/Alliance Championships, the fourth year Falcon took top honors within the MASCAC in the 3000 meter Steeplechase with an All-NE qualifying time of 9:39.10, while also finishing sixth in the MASCAC in the 800 meter with a time of 1:59.50.
The Fitchburg State men's and women's outdoor track & field teams return to action this weekend as members competer at the 2013 All-New England Championships hosted by Stonehill College starting on Friday at 10 a.m.
