Camara & Goba Collect USTFCCCA All-Region Honors
Fitchburg, Mass. – Fitchburg State Women's Outdoor Track & Field graduate student Makany Camara (Lowell, MA) and senior Skye Goba (Norton, MA) were recently named to the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Region East Team as announced by the USTFCCCA.
Camara ranked top five regionally in the 100 meter hurdles, while Goba finished the season, ranking within the top five in the 5000 meter and 10000 meter for the Green and Gold.
Top five individuals in each event from each region earned All-Region honors, in addition to each member of a top three ranked relay team.
The Fitchburg State Women's Track & Field team recently concluded their 2026 campaign at the 2026 All New England Championships, hosted by Stonehill College earlier this month.
