Goba Tabbed MASCAC WOTK Track Athlete Of The Week

Norton, MA. native collects first weekly honor of the season 

Fitchburg, Mass. – Fitchburg State senior Skye Goba (Norton, MA) was recently tabbed Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Women's Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week as announced by the conference office on Tuesday.

Goba collected her first weekly accolade of the season after placing fifth overall in the 10,000 meter with a new school time of 36:09.80 for the Falcons at the 2026 F.I.R.E meet, hosted by Williams College on Friday. With her time in the 10,000 meter, Skye currently ranks 40th nationally in the event.

The Fitchburg State Women's Outdoor Track & Field team concluded their 2026 campaign this past weekend.
