Camara Selected Women’s Indoor Field Athlete of the Week
Fitchburg, Mass. – Fitchburg State junior Makany Camara (Lowell, Mass.) was recently named Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Women’s Indoor Field Athlete of the Week as announced by the conference office on Tuesday.
Lowell, Mass. native earns second weekly accolade of the season
Fitchburg, Mass. – Fitchburg State junior Makany Camara (Lowell, Mass.) was recently named Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Women's Indoor Field Athlete of the Week as announced by the conference office on Tuesday.
The third-year Falcon nets her second weekly honor on the year after finishing second overall in the high jump with a mark of 1.52 meters for the Green and Gold at the 2023 Wesleyan Indoor Invite this past Saturday.
The Fitchburg State Women's Indoor Track and Field team returns to action on Saturday as they compete at the 2023 Panthers Invite, hosted by Plymouth State University.
