Guevara Mateo Tabbed MASCAC MXC Runner & Rookie Of The Week
Fitchburg, Mass. – Fitchburg State Men’s Cross Country freshman Paulino Guevara Mateo (Cambridge, MA) was recently named Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Men’s Cross Country Runner & Rookie of the Week as announced by the conference office on Tuesday.
Cambridge, Mass. native notches sixth conference weekly accolade
Fitchburg, Mass. – Fitchburg State Men's Cross Country freshman Paulino Guevara Mateo (Cambridge, MA) was recently named Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Men's Cross Country Runner & Rookie of the Week as announced by the conference office on Tuesday.
Guevara Mateo earned his sixth weekly honor of the season after capturing the 2025 NCAA Division III East Regional crown for the Falcons with a first place time of 24:31.6, hosted by Suffolk University at the Hopkinton Fairgrounds.
With the first place effort, Paulino qualified for the 2025 NCAA Division III Cross Country National Championships, hosted by Converse University on Saturday, starting at 10:00AM.
