Dunn Named MASCAC Player Of The Week

Douglas, Mass. native collects second weekly accolade of the season 

Fitchburg, Mass. – Fitchburg State Ice Hockey junior Hunter Dunn (Douglas, MA) was recently selected Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Ice Hockey Player of the Week as announced by the conference office on Monday.

Dunn picked up his second weekly honor on the year after registering six points on three goals and three assists in a 2-0 week for the Green and Gold. Hunter netted two goals and two assists in a 5-0 triumph over the Rams of Framingham State on Thursday before adding one goal and one assist in a 6-5 overtime victory against the Lancers of Worcester State on Saturday.

The Fitchburg State Ice Hockey team (16-5-0, 9-1-0 MASCAC) returns to action on Thursday as they host the Vikings of Salem State for a MASCAC tilt, starting at 6:30PM.
