Soderberg Selected MASCAC Goaltender Of The Week

Harrison Township, MI native collects third weekly accolade of the season 

Fitchburg, Mass. – Fitchburg State Ice Hockey junior Frederick Soderberg (Harrison Township, MI) was recently named Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Ice Hockey Goaltender of the Week as announced by the conference office on Monday afternoon.

Soderberg picked up his third weekly accolade of the season after stopping 27 shots with a 1.00 goals against average and a save percentage of .964 in the Falcons 3-1 triumph over the Trailblazers of MCLA on Saturday

The Fitchburg State Ice Hockey team (12-5-0, 5-1-0 MASCAC) returns to action on Thursday as they travel to Westfield State to take on the Owls in MASCAC action, starting at 7:35PM.
