How It Happened
Worcester State opened the scoring at the 3:34 mark of the first period when junior forward Brendan Ronan (Saugus, Mass.) gathered a feed from freshman Bridgham Neuhold (Edmund, Okla.) and junior Mike Wilson (Alexandria, Va.) and deposited a shot inside the far post for his fourth marker on the season for the 1-0 edge.
The Lancers doubled their advantage just ten seconds into the middle frame as senior Henry Bruckner (Franklin, Mass.) converted a power-play tally off an assist from Ronan for his second goal of the year to make the score 2-0.
The visitors upped their lead at the 13:34 mark of the middle frame with Ronan collecting a loose puck of his own rebound and slipping a shot into the lower left corner for his second goal of the contest.
