Mattone Named MASCAC Ice Hockey Goaltender Of The Week
FITCHBURG, Mass. – Fitchburg State senior goaltender Christopher Mattone (New Windsor, N.Y.) was selected Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Ice Hockey Goaltender of the Week as announced by the conference office on Monday afternoon.

FITCHBURG, Mass. – Fitchburg State senior goaltender Christopher Mattone (New Windsor, N.Y.) was selected Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Ice Hockey Goaltender of the Week as announced by the conference office on Monday afternoon.
The third-year Falcon earned his first conference weekly accolade after posting a 2.00 goals against average with 32 saves and a .941 save percentage in the Falcons 3-2 victory against Southern New Hampshire University on Sunday afternoon.
The Fitchburg State ice hockey team (5.2-0, 3-1-0 MASCAC) returns to action on Thursday as they travel to Westfield State to take on the Owls in MASCAC action, starting at 7:35 PM.
