DiNicola Earns Pair Of MASCAC Ice Hockey Weekly Honors

FITCHBURG, Mass. – Freshman forward Nick DiNicola was tabbed Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Ice Hockey Player and Rookie of the Week as announced by the conference office on Monday afternoon.
The first-year Falcon helped lead the to a 7-2 win over the Leopards of Wentworth Institute of Technology, posting four points on two goals and two assists in second round action of the 2015 ICFCU Shootout, hosted by Fitchburg State University on Saturday evening.
The Fitchburg State ice hockey team (1-1-0, 0-0-0 MASCAC) returns to action on Tuesday as it hosts the Pilgrims of New England College for a contest starting at 7 p.m.
