Wolcott Named MASCAC Goalie Of The Week
Junior Randy Wolcott (East Haven, Conn./Wisconsin-Stevens Point) was recently tabbed Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Goalie of the Week as announced by the league office Sunday afternoon.

FITCHBURG, Mass. (January 14, 2013) – Junior Randy Wolcott (East Haven, Conn./Wisconsin-Stevens Point) was recently tabbed Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Goalie of the Week as announced by the league office Sunday afternoon.
Wolcott collects his third weekly honor of the season after totaling 91 saves with a .958 save percentage, while guiding the Falcons to a pair of key conference victories. The junior goaltender made 38 stops in Fitchburg State’s 6-3 win over Framingham State University on Thursday before registering a season best 53 saves in the Falcons 3-1 victory against the Vikings of Salem State University on Saturday afternoon.
The Fitchburg State ice hockey team (6-7-1, 5-3-0 MASCAC) will be back in action on Tuesday at it hosts Worcester State University for a contest starting at 7 p.m.
