Jackson Earns Third Consecutive MASCAC Player of the Week Honors

FITCHBURG, MA: Fitchburg State junior guard Jalen Jackson (San Antonio, TX) was recently named Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) men's basketball Player of the Week as announced by the conference office this afternoon. This honor marks his third consecutive weekly award through the conference. 

Jackson averaged 21 points, six rebounds, and 2.5 steals on 17-29 shooting (58.6 percent) in the 1-1 week for the Falcons. He netted 25 points with five rebounds, three steals, and two assists in the 90-81 win over Colby Sawyer. Adding another 17 points and seven rebounds in the 85-65 setback to WPI.

The Fitchburg State men's basketball team (6-1) returns to action on Wednesday when it travels to Lasell University for a 7:30 PM non-conference game.
