Jackson Earns MASCAC Player of the Week Honors

FITCHBURG, MA: Fitchburg State junior guard Jalen Jackson (San Antonio, TX) was recently named Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) men's basketball Player of the Week as announced by the conference office on Monday afternoon. This marks his second weekly award through the conference. 

Jackson averaged 24.5 points, 10 rebounds, and an assist in a 2-0 week for the Falcons. He scored 20 points with 11 rebounds in the 65-63 win over UMass Boston. Jackson added 29 points and nine rebounds in the 75-72 win over MIT to help the Falcons start the season 5-0.

The Fitchburg State men's basketball team (5-0) returns to action on Tuesday when WPI makes the trip to Parkinson Gymnasium for a 6:00 PM contest.
