Bell Selected MASCAC And WACBA Men’s Basketball Player Of The Week
FITCHBURG, Mass. – Fitchburg State senior guard Jaleel Bell was tabbed both Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) and Worcester Area College Basketball Association (WACBA) Men’s Basketball Player of the Week as announced by the conference office earlier this week.

FITCHBURG, Mass. – Fitchburg State senior guard Jaleel Bell was tabbed both Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) and Worcester Area College Basketball Association (WACBA) Men's Basketball Player of the Week as announced by the conference offices earlier this week.
Bell collects his second weekly honor of the season after averaging 26.5 points, nine rebounds, three assists, two steals and 0.5 blocks per game in the Green and Gold's two wins this week. The second-year Falcon netted 16 points, seven rebounds, four assists and two steals in a 101-66 win over MCLA on Wednesday before adding a double-double of 37 points and 11 caroms as well as two assists, two steals and one block in an 87-83 triumph against Salem State on Saturday.
The Fitchburg State men's basketball team (8-9. 3-2) returns to action on Wednesday as it travels to Framingham State to take on the Rams at 5:30 p.m.
