Bio
Steiner enters his first full season as a Falcon after taking over the Sport Information Department in March of 2026.
Steiner is a graduate of Springfield College’s Sport Management program, earning his bachelor’s degree in December 2024.
Prior to Fitchburg State, Steiner spent two years at the Community College of Rhode Island, serving as Sports Information Director. Prior to his time at CCRI, Steiner served as Head Supervisor for the 2024 Spalding Hoophall Classic in Springfield, Mass. He was recognized as the 2024 scholarship winner of the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame Scholarship for his contributions and leadership in his role at the event.
In addition to his professional experience, Steiner is the creator of the Instagram media account @celticseverything, which has amassed more than 25,000 followers seeking NBA and Boston Celtics news and coverage.
“I am honored to be a part of such a historic University where human development through sports is so strongly supported,” said Steiner. “I am looking forward to continuing that mission and enhancing the student-athlete experience for every Falcon.”
A longtime resident of Oxford, Mass., Steiner’s goal at Fitchburg State is to create a welcoming environment where student-athletes feel recognized and rewarded for their contributions to Falcons Athletics and the University community.
