Fitchburg State Ice Hockey set to host “Hockey Day in the ‘Burg”
The Fitchburg State Falcons will take the ice against the Westfield State Owls for game one of "Hockey Day in the 'Burg" on Saturday, January 22 at 3 p.m. to benefit the Thibeault Family Rehabilitation Trust.

Hockey Day in the 'Burg is a trio of games starting with the Falcons. In the second tilt, Milton Academy will face the Pomfret School at 5:30 p.m. and the nightcap will feature Fitchburg High School vs. Lunenburg High School at 7:30 p.m. The game will be played at the Wallace Civic Center, 1000 John Fitch Highway.
Tickets for the game are $10 and will grant admission to the entire tripleheader. Entry will be free to students with a OneCard.
There will also host a free open skate from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Friday, January 21 at the Wallace Civic Center, sponsored by IC Federal Credit Union. Skaters may bring their own skates or rent skates for $6 a pair. All proceeds from skate rentals will be donated to the cause.
