Samantha Wilkinson, Women's Indoor Track & Field
Junior Samantha Wilkinson (Wakefield, Mass./Wakefield) collects her third Soaring Falcon honor of the season as the Fitchburg State women's indoor track & firld team competed at the 2013 Indoor ECAC Championships hosted by the Armory Track & Field Center in New York City this weekend.
The junior sprinter posted a solid time of 1:21.25 with a 15th place finish in the 500m dash before guiding the 4x800m realy team to a 25th place effort with a season best time of 9:58.69, passing the previous mark by seven seconds in the process.
Members Fitchburg State Men's and Women's Indoor Track & Field teams await their seeding into the upcoming NCAA Division III Championships hosted by North Central College in Illinois beginning on Friday March 8th.
