Jeff Godin, Ph.D., CSCS
Dr. Godin is an Associate Professor in the Department of Exercise and Sports Science and serves as the Head of Performance and Sports Science at the Landry Strength and Conditioning Center. Dr. Godin earned his Ph.D. in Exercise Science/ Kinesiology at the University of Connecticut and his MS in Exercise Science/ Human Performance at Bridgewater State University.
He has served on the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Associations Written Examination Committee since 2010 and has served as a fitness education consultant for the Spartan Race since 2011 . Dr. Godin is certified by the American College of Sports Medicine, National Strength and Conditioning Association, and the National Academy of Sports Medicine. Dr. Godin has competed in and finished over 30 ultra-endurance events and Spartan Races. He has been working at the University since 2000.
