THE WOMEN: The Fitchburg State women’s basketball team (11-9) host the Trailblazers of MCLA (4-16) this afternoon looking for its fifth league victory.

Leading the way for the Falcons this season has been senior forward Amy Fahey who is averaging a team-best 15.1 ppg and 7.6 rebounds per night. Junior Laura Cote has also been strong with 13.1 ppg on 39.1% shooting from the field, while junior Rebecca Fluet has been solid with 9.4 ppg.

The Trailblazers have been led by freshman Kayla Hotaling who is totaling a near double-double with a team-best 13.2 ppg with 9.8 rebounds per contest. Senior Kaitlyn Chenevert has also been solid with 10.7 ppg and 5.4 rebounds per contest.

THE MEN: The Fitchburg State men’s basketball team is looking for its third MASCAC victory as it hosts the 6-14 Trailblazers of MCLA.

This year, senior Mike Ingram-Rubin has led the Falcons, averaging a team-best 20.3 ppg to go with a team-best 69 assists and 28 steals. Sophomore Anthony Muccioli has also been solid with 13.9 ppg, while senior Mo Molin has been strong with 8.4 ppg and 7.6 rebounds per contest.

For the Trailblazers, three players are averaging double-figures, including John Jones who leads the way with 16. 5 ppg. Jeremic Bennett has also been strong with 11.4 ppg, while Ruben Delrosario has chipped in with an average of 10.9 ppg and 50.0% shooting from the floor
