Matt Muolo
Men's Track
In the throwing arena, Matt Muolo has proven himself time and time again, qualifying for two National Championships and nine Regional Championships throughout his career.
This season, he became the program’s first All-American in the last 17 years, finishing eighth in the weight throw at the 2012 NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships.
This young man dominated the MASCAC throwing circuit like no other, earning All-Conference honors in the weight throw and five Player of the Week nominations.

Amy Fahey
Women's Basketball
Amy Fahey witnessed a breakout season for the Fitchburg State women’s basketball team, averaging a near double-double with 23.6 points per game and 9.6 rebounds per contest.
Her 23 .6 points ranked third in the nation among all Division III players, while her 9.6 rebounds ranked first in the MASCAC.
For her efforts, she was named the MASCAC Women’s Basketball Player of the Year, while also collecting a DIII Hoops All-Region nomination and six Player of the Week honors.

Kris Threlkeld
Ice Hockey
Kris Threlkeld is a young man who has succeeded both on the ice and in the classroom.
He is a four-year member of the Fitchburg State ice hockey team, earning MASCAC All-Academic honors each of his four seasons.
As a member of the honorable President’s List, he will be graduating this spring with a 3.81 GPA in Criminal Justice.

Emily Lane
Cross-Country, Track & Field
Emily Lane is a scholar in every sense of the word.
Off the field, this young lady has accomplished an incredible feat, completing her degree in the just three years. This spring, she will be graduating from the University on the President’s List after posting a 3.86 GPA in Communications Media.
On the field, she has been a three-year member of the cross-country, indoor track and outdoor track teams. She has qualified for 16 post-season championships, including the DIII Championships, All-New England Championships and ECAC Championships.

Chris Kibler
Cross-Country, Track & Field
Chris Kibler is truly a leader in every sense of the word.
He has consistently motivated his peers by example, leading a trio of teams inside the Fitchburg State athletic program.
He has been a four-year member of the cross-country team, indoor track team and outdoor track team, while also playing a vital role on the Student Athlete Advisory Committee.
This season, this young man has qualified for six post-season honors, shattering a pair of school records in both the 3000m run and the distance medley relay.

Kelly Finamore
Women's Lacrosse
Kelly Finamore has been a two-year captain of the women’s lacrosse team.
Between balancing the weight of a heavy Nursing course load and lacrosse, this young lady found time to be a leader off the field. This past summer, she embarked on a two-week volunteer mission in Ghana, providing medical care to less fortunate residents with an organization called “International Volunteer Headquarters.”
On the field, she has witnessed a career year, leading Fitchburg State to its third consecutive post-season. She ranked first on the team in scoring with 73 points, while earning NEWLA All-Conference first team honors.

Kris Threlkeld
Ice Hockey
Kris Threlkeld is an ice hockey player who demonstrated both courage and spirit on the ice this season.
Early in the year, this young man suffered a devastating ankle injury, breaking two bones in acontest at Plymouth State. After months off the ice, he returned to action,despite continuing to skate on a compound fracture.
Upon his return, he led Fitchburg State back to the post-season, scoring ten points over 16 games played.

Mike Ingram-Rubin
Men's Basketball
As a member of the Fitchburg State men’s basketball team, Mike Ingram-Rubin made a significant impact in Fitchburg State's pursuit of a 2012 playoff berth.
Over the course of the season, he averaged 12.9 points per game and 5.2 rebounds per contest. In addition, his 2.4 steals per game ranked second in the MASCAC and 31st among all Division III players.

Lindsey White
Women's Lacrosse
Lindsey White is a freshman, attacker from Hanover, Massachusetts.
As a member of the women’s lacrosse team, this young lady played a crucial role in leading Fitchburg State back to the post-season for the third consecutive season.
In her rookie season, she appeared in all 17 games for the Falcons, ranking third on the team in scoring with 46 points with 35 goals and 11 assists.

Bruce Walberg
Women's Soccer
Bruce Walberg, a seven-year member of the Fitchburg State athletics staff, retired as the women’s soccer program’s all-time winningest coach this past season, compiling an overall record of 67-49-8 (.573 pct).
Throughout his tenure, Walberg has coached 30 MASCAC All-Conference players, including nine first-team selections, 21 second-team honorees and one Rookie of the Year.
During the 2011 campaign, the Falcons named five players to the All-Conference squad, boasting an overall record of 10-6-2 and qualifying for the MASCAC tournament semifinals.

Jamie Rogers
Assistant - Sports Information
Jamie Rogers has been a true supporter of the Fitchburg State athletic program.
Throughout his time, he has worn the Green and Gold for nearly 12 seasons, putting in countless hours both in the office and at the fields. He has always been willing to lend an extra hand, no questions asked.
As a member of the Falcons staff, Jamie has supported each program with exceptional statistical work, while also serving as a public address announcer.
