Matt Muolo, Men's Track

Senior Matt Muolo (Stoneham, Mass./Stoneham) collects his second consecutive Soaring Falcon honor of the season after leading the Fitchburg State men's indoor track and field team at the Harvard Open.

Muolo was named the MASCAC Field Athlete of the Week as he continued his dominance in the track and field arena, posting New England Division III, ECAC and All-New England qualifying marks for the second consecutive week. The senior thrower finished third overall in the weight throw at the All-Division Harvard Open, posting a mark of 17.26m. In addition, Muolo added a tenth place finish in the shot-put with toss of 13.51m.

The Falcons men’s and women’s track squads will be off until after the new year, when they compete at Tufts University on January 14th.
